Ha’apai Hospitality has been licensed as a whale watching operator in Ha’apai since 2020. The business is locally owned by Mr. Mahe Pepa an indegenous Tongan born whom loved to be around by the sea. Very experience skipper and whale tour guide whom worked in the industry for more than 20+ years.
The business have operated on an aluminum 12 meter vessel named MV. Velata and can carry a maximum of 8 people with 6 passengers and 2 crews. Have been certified sea worthy with Marine & Ports Department to sail on Tonga waters and equipped with safety essentials for unexpected situation at sea.
