Located conveniently in the centre of Nuku’alofa, Friends Café has long been a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.
Relax on the shady terrace, check out some live local music and chat with our friendly staff while enjoying delicious fresh food – Friends Café is not to be missed. We offer a large range of beverages including fresh coconuts and fruit smoothies, an all-day breakfast and a selection of lunch, dinner and dessert options, including a number of local specialities. Recharge with coffee made with 100% Tongan Arabica beans, and fully indulge in the taste of Tonga and try Vanilla French Toast topped with locally grown Heilala vanilla syrup, or our ‘Ota ‘Ika, raw fish marinated in coconut
cream. We also offer a number of local root crops as side dishes. In addition to the distinctly Tongan flavour, Friends Café offers options from a number of other cuisines, from pasta and paninis through to a range of freshly baked sweet treats.
Friends Café is open from Monday to Saturday from 7:30am to 10pm, and Wifi internet access is available.
Tourist Center
Friends Tourist Center is a great central location to plan your Tonga Experience with a wide range of activities throughout the Kingdom. We offer Wifi and computer terminals where you can print, scan and send faxes.
