The Blue Water Retreat is the official home base for Spearfishing Tonga and Sport fishing Tonga. Formerly known as the Deep Resort this location was handpicked by Robert Torelli after five years of searching throughout the Kingdom of Tonga for the right “home base” for his spearfishing and charter companies.
At present the Blue Water Retreat has 7 fales (Tongan word for small house) that can cater for 14 people comfortably at any given time period. Blue Water Retreat Pty Ltd is in the process of planning and extending the accommodation and building and renovations will commence during the first half of 2020.
With its amazing beach front location and only a five minute drive from the harbour the Blue Water Retreat is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Some of the best blue water fishing is only a ten minute boat run from the harbour and our team are confident in offering world class fishing year round.
