The name ‘Oholei comes from Oho, the Tongan word for food for a journey, and lei the Hawaiian word for necklace of flowers. You can easily find both on this lovely beach resort and Hina cave.
Set among the caves and cliffs of the Lavengatonga beach on Tongatapu, ‘Oholei offers a variety of things to keep you smiling. You can enjoy dinner and a floor show on Wednesday and Friday nights, an afternoon feast and gospel music on Sundays, or you can dance and enjoy the fire at the monthly full moon bonfire.
Beach side ‘eco’ fala accommodations are now available! We are also available for private parties, reunions, birthdays and weddings.
Wednesdays & Fridays are our floor show and buffet nights. Doors open at 6 pm. Buffet starts at 8 pm. Dance the night away with the ‘Oholei Live Band.
Sunday Buffet lunch is at 2 pm.
